the one with christmas at thanksgiving

Christmas at Nana's (my mom) was this weekend. We had tons of fun watching the girls open their presents and playing outside. P was a ham as usual and S is always such a cuddle-bug.

I haven't even started editing the family pics which were taken later in the day. Once I get them to C, I will post them.

Off to take pics of the Gillenwaters and Joe and I are going to attempt a self-portrait on the way out there.

the one with the sneak peek

Photobucket

I think I'll be editing and blogging for a while with the amount of pictures I took this weekend.

First up, "Christmas at Thanksgiving" with my mom. We celebrate Christmas early (the day after Thanksgiving) so that we are able to spend all day together without being pulled in 20 directions.

Adam Family Photos were next and you are in for a treat because they turned out AWESOME if I do say so myself.

P's 2nd Birthday was today. Let's just say after a long weekend of getting her picture taken, she was NOT in the mood for more but I was able to get some cute ones of her friends.

Tomorrow, the Gillenwater's Family Photos (we got rained out last weekend). My camera is on overload but it is sooooo worth it!

the one with one wedding and a baby

Lots of pics today so I will keep my words few.

Joseph and I attended the wedding of a good friend this weekend in San Antonio. The wedding took place at The Oasis on Medina Lake. Here are some of the pics of the beautiful day.

I love this picture, it's so telling. The garter is right at their feet and neither one is budging. Classic!

While we were in town we were able to see 3-week-old G. He is the son of one of our good friends from high school. I could have held him all day but I had to give him back to S so I could sneak in a few shots of the little munchkin.

This weekend, the Gillenwater's holiday session and T and I are attending the Austin Junior League's A Christmas Affair on Saturday.

the one where we went to the B&B

This weekend my mom and I went on our annual Bed & Breakfast trip. It's a tradition every year that we stay in a bed & breakfast (different one each year) and then do our Christmas shopping the day after. It's great bonding time without distractions.

So this year we stayed at a B&B in Dripping Springs. The drive out there is only about 30 minutes for me so along the way I had to stop and get shots of this old barn.

This is "Nell" in her bed of hay. She lives at the B&B and was happy to have found a cat lover in me.

On Saturday, we headed to San Marcos for a full day of shopping and I almost got all of my Christmas shopping done. With the move and holidays, birthdays and weddings mixed up in between, it was a good feeling to have the majority of it done. Should I wrap it all before we move?

the one with carrie & little big town

Carrie Underwood was here with Little Big Town for a concert on Halloween. We got tickets with my Dad and C and had a blast.

Here we are with Carrie, it was so great to meet her and be able to take pics with her, ha!

Little Big Town is one of my favs at the moment. If you haven't heard their music, check 'em out, they are fabulous! They rock it out.

Miss Underwood put on a great show. One of her costume choices was questionable but she is an awesome performer and her voice is incredible (even live).

the one with the halloween costumes

As promised...

Here's P getting dressed in the car. She did have a cute tiara to wear with her "princess" outfit but since birth she will not wear anything on her head. C does well just to get a barrette in her hair. Luckily, P capped off her outfit with a "prop"... a princess wand...can't forget to accessorize.

I don't usually do "artsy" pics like this but I just love the contrast of the black and white with her very pink dress.

I couldn't decide black & white or color on this one.

S is very chill, we just set her up on the hill in the middle of all the pumpkins and she was perfectly happy, granted she had her piece of hay.

Another one which I couldn't decide b/w or color.
I wasn't able to spend Halloween with my little angels but I got the next best thing.
