Like most people, I seek a purpose in my life. Lately, I have been continuously wondering what specifically does God want me to contribute while I am serving Him here on earth? This is not the first and will not be the last time that I ask myself this question but I do believe after much thought, prayer and a little help from my Real Simple Life Coach (read the March issue if you are curious) that I know what my true passion in life is.
The two questions I asked myself were, "What brings me joy?" and "What can I do to bring joy to others?" The passion lies where the answer to these two questions intersect and for me it was really clear, photography.
So without further ado, I would like to introduce you to the very first step in the Cherry Blossom Photography "business plan"... THE BLOG!
I've been a "blog stalker" for a while and now its my turn to contribute to the big WWW.
The purpose of the blog is two-fold and it will look better as time goes by. Joseph and I have been feeling some disconnect since we moved and this is the perfect way for us to stay in touch with everyone. Also, this our first step in starting a photography business. Cherry Blossom Photography will specialize in child and family photography. I am still an "amateur" but I am trying to get as much practice as I can.
Please enjoy and feel free to pass on to many others. There is a website to follow. Joseph and I are in the process of buying a domain, getting it hosted, designing the site, blah blah blah. Good thing he has the resources and knowledge to handle the technical part of this adventure, I'll just stick to the creative part.
