Hello Strangers!

So here we are almost 2 months later and I am just now going to post about our trip to Annapolis/Washington DC. It was a fabulous trip and and a once in a lifetime experience.

The pictures speak for themselves so I will limit the commentary.

The purpose of the trip was to attend Joseph's cousin's graduation from the US Naval Academy.

The first night we were there, we all went in a limo from Annapolis to DC where we ate dinner and were able to see the Lincoln Memorial at night.

The next morning was the graduation. President Obama was the commencement speaker.

This is the graduate. She is an unbelievably inspiring woman.

Check mark to the "bucket list". According to several internet sites, this restaurant, Cantler's, is considered one of the 10 places you should eat before you die.

The next day was spent touring DC.

It was Memorial Day weekend and there were thousands of bikes in the city for the bike rally.
