Lots of pics today...

The weekend started off a little rocky. We only had one pack-n-play for the two girls so it was decided that P would have to sleep all weekend on a pallet on the guest room floor. The first time Candice put her in there, she kind of freaked out that she was on the floor in the dark room. Jason was attending an alumni golf tourney all weekend (he was MIA) so Joe and I went upstairs to help Candice settled her down. When P saw her Uncle Joe she clung to him for dear life and would not let go. He ended up laying with her on the bed and she fell asleep like a champ.  The rest of the weekend was a breeze she loved her fluffy pallet on the floor. 

This pic isn't the best because I didn't dare use a flash and the only light in the room was the lamp but it's the sweetest pic so its makes it beautiful to me.

The squidster "chillin' like a villain" which is what she does the best. She just hung out all weekend and watched all the crazy action around her.

We went to the pool on Saturday morning, then naps then Uncle Joe was going to BBQ for everyone so we headed outside...

I asked P to help me water the flowers and it turned into a great time. She loves the water and just stood their under the hose, raising her arms and yelling "raining, raining, raining".

It's hilarious when she gets water in her face...

By the end of weekend Pepper was getting used to having munchkins around and was venturing out only to run away again when P saw her and started calling out "Peppurr? Peppurr?"

Their mama hasn't seen these yet, so I won't post them all but here is a sneak peek of K&T's session "on the fly"...It was supposed to be a little more formal but we made do and the pics turned out awesome!

Here are pics of the munchkins at Zilker Park. I am still trying to get the processing just right but these turned out nicely if I do say so myself. Can't wait for them to spend the weekend with us again in Austin in a couple of weeks. We miss you! the city of "lost wages"

As promised...

Tif texted me when we got back from our trip, "Can't wait for next time, maybe not to Lost Wages but somewhere". I wrote her back to tell her I didn't get the whole message, part of it had been cut off. After she sent the same message and I pondered it for a while, I finally understood that she meant Las Vegas. It must have been the jet lag that threw me off! :)

This is Lake Travis from the plane. It's just as beautiful from the sky!

The water show at the Venetian through the columns. You can see the cranes from the construction of the new "city" they are building between Monte Carlo and Venetian. It is going to have a mall, 3 hotels/condos and 2 more condo only high-rises. 

Make a wish...We sure did.

Tif and Ryan had some hang-ups getting there on Saturday so we had a late start but once they arrived, we had a blast! Tif and I agreed that we could have spent one more day by the pool, especially with all the drama that you witness at a Vegas pool, but we were definitely all gambled out and ready to be home. 4 days in Vegas is plenty. Next time we are going somewhere very relaxing.
